Joby Aviation Brand
Joby is the leader in electric flight. The vision is ambitious: to produce, operate and maintain thousands of emission-free air taxis, and to create a global booking app.
The company is ramping up its operations and preparing to transition from research & development to a consumer-facing brand.
I led the efforts to evolve the existing brand into something that better represents the future and builds equity in the elements that are working. This work sets the stage for a fuller rebrand effort in 2025.

Contributions have been made along the way by our fantastic partners at Koto, Hush, Tolleson, and TinyWins.
Role: creative direction, design, project management
I've helped direct physical iterations of the brand, including skyport architecture and the interiors of the cabin. The material and color palette are translated for comfort and to emphasize tactile moments.
Interior renderings by Phillipp Haban and Matt Derkach.
Skyport designs by Chris Hazell, renderings by Kilograph.
